CIDERMAKER NOTES

As a small-batch cider in our Pollinator Series, Shaded Stream encapsulates our commitment to connection, community, and service. Fermented with organic Belle de Boskoop, Ashmead’s Kernel, and Karmijn de Sonnaville apples, each tended by our dedicated orchardists, this cider reflects the care rooted in our land. Shaded Stream highlights the mission of the North Olympic Salmon Association and the commitment of our land partners, all devoted to maintaining healthy salmon habitats. As Finnriver rests alongside Chimacum Creek — a salmon-bearing stream that sustains life far beyond this valley — we work to steward salmon-safe waterways throughout our region. Organic black and blue elderberries, grown by Finnriver crew members, are co-fermented and then aged on Western Red Cedar staves for two months. Fruit, flower, and tree ferment together in tribute to healthy streams. Semi-dry.
