Fermented from organic Washington apples for a bright cider base, then steeped with organic toasted fennel seed and star anise pods to impart lingering notes of licorice. The infusion of locally grown and handpicked saffron from Golden Tradition Saffron in North Plains, OR, gifts this cider with its lovely gold tint. Rooted in a deep reverence for the land, the crafting of Solstice Saffron honors the agricultural anomaly of organically grown Pacific Northwest saffron-- known to be one of the world's rarest spices.
