Finnriver Farm Home

Finnriver Farm is a 33 acre organic family farm and artisan Cidery located along a restored salmon stream located off Center Road, in the rural Chimacum Valley, a traditionally agricultural region on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State. We are 12 miles south of historic Port Townsend, and a scenic ferry ride and one hour's drive from Seattle.

A Washington State Certified Organic farm and a Salmon Safe farm, Finnriver is protected by conservation easements with the Jefferson Land Trust, ensuring that this will remain sustainably working land. Here we grow an assortment of berry crops, including blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and black currants, as well as a mixed vegetable garden, varied flowers, popular squash varieties, and several heirloom apple orchards.  We also keep honey bees, raise layer and meat chickens, ducks, pigs and goats.

Our farm goods are available through our seasonal U-Pick Collective, at the thriving Port Townsend Farmer's Market, at other regional Farmer's Markets, at the Port Townsend Food CO-OP, and at various local retail outlets.

We also operate an artisan Cidery, crafting hard ciders, and spirited dessert wines from organic and homestead fruits.

We enjoy sharing the farm with migrating salmon and swans; with eagles and herons; with berry-pickers; with farm apprentices, workers and volunteers; and with community members for workshops, retreats, seasonal celebrations and farm tours.
