This Mexican holiday—celebrated throughout Mexico and in parts of Latin America in the early days of November—honors ancestors and deceased loved ones with traditional offerings of food, beverages, flowers and candles. On Friday, November 4th, there will be a community altar and Mexican-Latin music. On Saturday, November 5th, there will be an ancestral altar-building workshop, decorated gravesites, kid crafts, tamales, hot cocoa and face-painting, rain or shine!
